Send Flowers to Armenia, Colombia

Armenia is the capital of Quindío, the smallest department of Colombia's coffee region, rebuilt after the 1999 earthquake. It is the gateway to Salento, the Valle de Cocora wax palms and the Parque del Café theme park in Montenegro. Many families from Armenia have relatives in Spain and the United States who send flowers home for a mother's birthday, a new baby or a condolence.

Mother's Day in Colombia is the second Sunday of May and florists in Armenia are busiest then. The Fiestas de Armenia in October celebrate the city's founding with parades and family gatherings where a bouquet is welcome. Día de la Mujer on 8 March is also popular. For a death in the family, friends send flowers to the velación and the novena masses.

Order before midnight Colombian time and your flowers are delivered the next day in Armenia. Include the recipient's phone number so the florist can call ahead and rearrange if nobody is home. Roses, lilies, mixed bouquets and plants are usually in stock; otherwise the florist proposes a close equivalent.
