About Us

FlowersColombia makes it easy to send flowers to Colombia from anywhere in the world. Colombians living in the US, Canada and Europe, and expats as far away as Asia, use it to reach their mothers in Bogotá, their partners in Medellín or their friends on the Caribbean coast. You order online in English, pay in US dollars and choose the date.

A local Colombian florist prepares each arrangement by hand and delivers it to the door, from the highland cities of Bogotá and Bucaramanga to Cali in the Valle del Cauca, the coffee region, and Barranquilla, Cartagena and Santa Marta on the coast. Orders placed before 11:00 am local time can usually arrive the same day, Monday to Saturday.

Giving flowers in Colombia

Colombia is one of the world's great flower-growing countries, and Colombians give flowers with real enthusiasm. Mothers are celebrated with large family gatherings in May, Amor y Amistad in September fills offices with roses and teddy bears, and Women's Day in March is another key date. In Medellín, the Feria de las Flores and its silleteros, who carry huge flower displays on their backs, are a point of pride. Colombians appreciate generous, colourful bouquets and a warm, affectionate card message. For condolences, white flowers sent quickly to the family or funeral home are the respectful choice.

FlowersColombia is part of Flowers Worldwide LLC, a US-registered company that runs a family of flower delivery sites, including abcFlora.com for worldwide delivery and FlowersCloud.com. Our role is to make ordering from abroad clear and safe, with secure payment and responsive support. The flowers themselves are in the hands of independent Colombian florists, who select fresh local stems, arrange them by hand and deliver them personally to the people you care about.
