A recent study found that over 60% of Colombians prefer gift baskets and hampers as presents due to their unique and thoughtful nature.

Colombia's diverse range of gift-giving occasions offers ample opportunities to present these delightful baskets. Mother's Day, celebrated on the second Sunday of May, is Colombia's biggest flower holiday and is often paired with a personalized gift basket. The Feria de las Flores, held in August in Medellin, is another significant event where these hampers are exchanged. Additionally, Valentine's Day, known as the Dia del Amor y la Amistad in September, funerals, birthdays, and graduations are all events where gift baskets are commonly given.
